Currently, Little Modern Market is held in a church. Which provides all kinds of wonderful space and opportunities, but it also means we want to honour some of their parameters. In an effort to respect the church we refrain from things that may be found by some inappropriate (X-rated, foul language, related to witchcraft or other religious practices, stone-healing, drugs or alcohol, or drinking on the premises.)  We understand folks can engage with some practices and those things in various ways and hold them to differing meanings, while at the same time others may interpret it differently (IE: Yoga for many is a helpful health practice, but for some it’s a deeply rooted religious practice). We know this may on occasion cause conflict so we appreciate your gracious understanding as we do our best to create safe and meaningful places for all people while also honouring our hosts.
